Am reluctantly thinking of selling my HB Torana. She is a 1969 4 door 'S' model. Auto 1.3 Brabham. All original, runs perfectly, licensed till Jan 09. She has good brakes, tyres, interior. She had 1 lady owner since new, until I brought her in July last year. Have the log books and workshop manual. Cambridge blue/white roof.
Looking at offers.

I have a pair of 235/50 13 for sale they are BF Goodrich and are T/A's one is just rwc the other is has good tread asking $120 ono for the pair.

Why do we drive Old Holdens?
What is it about these cars that we spend our time and money to keep them going?
I was pondering this question (fairly deeply) as i sat in my Prem on a traffic island, watching people drive past and laugh after breaking down in the turning lane and being pushed off the road by a friendly bunch of prisoners (i kid you not).

I'm curious what people think. For me, being only 18 and being even a twinkle in my old mans eye when my cars were built, it's not about reliving a bygone era, or the performance i can wring out of my cars. It's a mixture of things. Driving with the window down, music blaring, heading down the highway... It's a freedom thing i think.

I need a set of exhaust flanges draw up in CAD. If anyone could do this for me it would be great.
Ive scanned in a set of blue (3.3) exhaust gaskets with a 1cm grid begind them.
If anyone already has a CAD drawing of these already that would be easier!

On the 21st the fx-Hz club is having a run from bunnings waurn ponds geelong, meeting at 10 ish for an 11 departure, we are running to torquay, around to barwon heads, ocean grove, across to indented heads and having a BBQ lunch at portarlington, we are dragging our club trailer around so if you byo BBQ stuff there's plenty of room to cook on it.
This is a family friendly run, and are trying to attract new members as well as getting our name out there.
So please if you have nothing to do come long for a cruise, as i did today and being a 25 degree day, it was the boost with nuts, and with the windows down in the munro it was fantastic , thumbs up every were.
Its great to get the girl out of the shed...'

Well the time has come and after 30 Yrs i need to move house. I have Over 40 Yrs of parts collected up and i would like to see a lot of them gone (Even though the house im moving to has MORE space to hord). Most parts are from EH all the way to WB with a LOT OF EH, HR and HQ-WB parts mostly... I cant list everything because there is just too much stuff to list. Some of the things i can think of off the top of my head are below but if there is anything your after let me know because i could just have it.

**PLEASE NOTE** 90% of things i might not be able to get pictures of because seriously there is that much stuff piled up everywhere i cant go ripping everything apart to find something just on the chance of a sale.

I've finally got the money together to buy my new manifold (Weber onto 12 port) and so i gave "Aussiespeed" a call about their 12 port weber manifold but the fella said he's stopped making them as they were'nt too impressive in testing but he has a new one in the making that will be at least two months away :-(
I was quite impressed with the bloke's honesty and even though his other phone was ringing hot, he was more than happy to answer all my questions. His (ever expanding) product range is aimed at us mob who are into the oldschool (including the Grey motor) and is definately worthy of a plug and worth having a look.
Ah well, back to using an adaptor on the Varijet manifold :-(

hi, just wondering how much a hb torana would be worth??? it is a four door sl and has a four cylinder motor, it drives but is unregisted, paint is badly faded and has a bit of rust, interior is a bit shabby and tyres are bald, it hasn't been driven on the road for about 3 years, just been sitting in back yard, it's my mates car and he's considering selling it, just don't know what there worth?? any help would be good
