Hi all i have a two red wires with spade terminals running around the back of my engine and not connected. They end near the Holly and i was wondering should that have any wires going to it? If so wear? I know its not for starter or alternator but aside from Holly they dont really reach anything else. Cheers

Hi guys i was wondering what the tension is for the nuts that sit ontop of the saddle above the rockers is on a 202 Blue motor. Also wondering what would happen if they were done up to tight? Is it possible that the engine will keep stalling because the amount of friction to open them is to much?

In the process of buying a EH with a 202 at the moment, looking for a mechanic to partner with in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Someone who can do a full check-over, maybe make a few minor mods, and generally get it schmick.

Here's a pic of the accelerater cable bracket i made up for my weber.

... i am also on the lookout for the motor/wiring harness to suit a HJ wagons electric rear window.
I cant seem to find any on ebay or at any wreckers .. are these hard to come by these days? Really keen to put it in.

Just after a rough price to expect to pay for an entire rubber kit to suit a Wagon, maybe there is somewhere most people here go and can recommend?
I am also wondering what i might be paying 'The Glass Man' to install front windscreen and rear quarter windows.

Looking at putting a vk 5 speed in my Wb (202 and 4 speed) and from what i can gather here the only thing that needs modifying is the tail shaft? I'm just wondering what actually has to be done to the shaft regards shortening, the yolk ect.

Any help would be great.

Doors in the ute are rusted out so im thinking to start looking for replacements.thought if ask on here if anyone has any they want to get rid of before i go hitting up evilbay and that,i live in adelaide hills so any around sa would be a best option.also is it hard to do a window conversion as the ones i have now are tinted and would prefer to keep them.

Hay guys i just rebuilt my top end yesterday and i started it up today and its running ruff as. I have to rev it heaps otherwise it stalls and ever when iv got the peddle to the floor it still sounds ruff. I was wondering if there was something that commonly gets overlooked? Iv double and triple checked the firing order. I just dont understand why its running like [Naughty Pottyword] now when all that was changed is all of the gaskets.

Buying all parts needed to fit a celica 5 speed into a hz with red 202,

gearbox aswell if you have

atm the ute has a column shift 4 speed auto i think, might not be 4 speed, and has a bench seat

Finally got to fire her up last night and she runs like a charm :-)
I seem to have sorted my coolant leak after LMH's suggestion to dip each headbolt in #3 sealant.
I've not been in it yet but Pam reckons way more power than before :-D

anyway, a couple of issues......

im looking at doing a volvo diff conversion to the old eh, because the banjo diff is completly rooted, and i want the 4 wheel disks,
would anyone here know of all the modifications that will have to be done to make the volvo diff fit correctly? the car is currntly running a 3spd gear box.and has a hr disk front end

Hi, does anyone know where I can get a shifter handle for my trimatic? I've searched E-bay, wreckers, trading post and nothing. Is there an aftermarket type or are we stuck with the weak plastic style.

I just put coolant into my radiator and have a leak start instantly. It seems to be coming from between the head and block under an exauhst port.
Obviously i've now gotta pull it down again but i'm hoping someone can answer this question....
Do any head bolts open into the water jackets ?

I'm doubting if i remembered to use any sealant on the head bolt threads and so if the threads break into the water jacket then there's a logical cause for my leak.

picked it up today for a excellent amount.....and the guy added a 253 for a little extra...he said he had to many other projects. The car is in very good condition with only 1 visible bubble on the cone. the rest seems really good. it has a 202 red with a 3 speed and the real deal maker is the bench seat. i absolutely love it!!

- Has anybody have this type of experience?
- Does anybody know someone who can do this repair? I could do it
myself but don't have the required tools. I would like a proper
repair not just to patch it up.
- Does anybody have a estimate of what this may cost?

I've got a LJ SL Torana and want to change the wheels on it. Right now I have the stock rims with hub-caps, 13X4.5 (front) and 13X6.5 (back, blownout). I wanted to put Centerline Auto Drgas but they seem hard to find for an LJ. Any sugestions on what looks nice on an LJ?

Hi people, new to this talking on the nerd box thing, but a young hand at owning Holdens. Had 3 different Kingas over my driving career am currently driving a One Tonner work ute with mild 202 and x2 carbs. Slightly lowered(sitting on bumps at front), mags apart from that pretty stock.
