Paint suppliers.

Gday,

I am now looking to buy my paint for the HJ..
I can only imagine that a Spraypainter by trade would not be too happy in supplying someone else with paint to do his work for him.. so where do you guys suggest i buy paint from? I am in Sydney if anyone knows any specific shops, but what type of place should i look for? Maybe holden dealers (im not looking for the original colours but maybe a colour holden has)?

Most Automotive spares stores will mix paint for you. Just take the paint code with you and there shouldn't be a problem.

I am yet to decide whether to use acrylic or 2K.
They both appear to require just as much effort (primers, base, fill, clear) etc. However 2K paint will leave a shinier/wetter? look in the long term?
