Would anyone have a boot lock with key to suit a HX they'd like to sell ?

I see i can get aftermarket boot locks on ebay, has anyone tried them out and are they as good as the originals ?

Even an aftermarket has got to be better than a 30 yr old original for security , but if you are hooked on originality then what choice do ya have ? I've got a couple in the shed ( somewhere ) if ya stuck.

G'day Dusty,
I can't help you with the lock, but I just thought I'd mention, if you do happen to find one on a car (wrecking, or whatever), grab the glove box lock while your at it, just saves mucking around with two keys, or getting a locksmith.
Originally they would've been opened with the same key, so the boot lock and the glove box lock will be the same, if it's original.
